Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated · GurVer INC
This Privacy Policy explains how GurVer INC (“GurVer INC”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use TruckPro Safety Carma (“TruckPro”): the website at safetycarma.com, the web dashboard at app.safetycarma.com, the TruckPro mobile apps for iOS and Android, and TruckPro text messages (together, the “Services”).
In short: we collect only what we need to run your account and show your carrier’s safety data. We do not sell your personal information, we do not use advertising trackers, and we never share your mobile number or SMS consent with third parties for their marketing.
1. Who we are
GurVer INC operates the Services and is responsible for your personal information. TruckPro is a business tool for motor carriers, owner-operators and their safety staff. It is not affiliated with the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA) or the U.S. Department of Transportation.
2. Information we collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address, a password, your carrier’s USDOT number and the beta invite code you use to register. Your password is stored only as a protected credential in our identity system. We never see it in plain text.
- Organization information: the organization you belong to, your role in it (for example owner or member), and invitations you send or receive, including the invitee’s email address.
- Mobile number and SMS preferences: if you choose to receive text messages, your mobile phone number, the types of messages you opted in to, and the date, time and method of your consent and any opt-out.
- Early access applications: when you apply on our website, your first and last name, work email, mobile phone number, company name and USDOT number, plus any text message consent you choose to give.
- Communications: messages you send us, such as a beta access request, a support email or a reply to a text message.
Information collected automatically
- Sign-in and security records: when you sign in, we record the time, your IP address, browser or device type (user agent), and an approximate location (country, region and city). We derive the location on our own servers from your IP address, using a locally stored IP location database, so your IP address is not sent to anyone else for this. We use these records to protect accounts and detect suspicious sign-ins.
- Session data: the web dashboard uses strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in. The mobile app stores your session token in the device’s secure storage (iOS Keychain or Android Keystore).
- Website analytics: our marketing website (not the dashboard or apps) uses a tracking script from our CRM provider to record page views and form submissions, so we can follow up on applications and understand which pages are useful. It may set first-party cookies and records information such as pages visited, referring page, browser type and IP address.
- Server logs: our servers keep standard technical logs, such as request time, IP address and errors, to operate and secure the Services.
The web dashboard and mobile apps do not use third-party analytics, advertising SDKs or cross-app tracking, and none of the Services use advertising cookies. The mobile apps do not collect your precise location, contacts, photos, microphone or camera data.
Public carrier data
TruckPro displays public records published by FMCSA and the U.S. DOT about your carrier, such as census details, roadside inspections, violations, crashes, BASIC data, insurance and operating authority. These records describe the business, may include business contact details and vehicle identification numbers (VINs), and are available to anyone from the government. FMCSA does not publish driver names or license numbers, and TruckPro does not display them.
3. How we use information
- To review early access applications and contact you about your application and invite code.
- To create and manage your account and organization, and to verify that you are authorized for a USDOT number.
- To provide the Services: show your carrier’s safety data, compute the TruckPro score and send messages you asked for.
- To send service emails, such as invitations, password resets and important account notices.
- To send text messages you have opted in to (see Text messages).
- To protect the Services, including detecting suspicious sign-ins, preventing abuse and keeping an audit trail of administrative actions.
- To support you, answer questions, and improve and fix the Services.
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
We use public carrier data, not your personal information, to generate written safety summaries. Some of these summaries are produced with an AI service provider that receives only the carrier’s public FMCSA data.
4. Text messages (SMS)
If you opt in, we use your mobile number to send the categories of text messages you chose, such as safety alerts, account and security messages, team invitations and, only with separate consent, marketing messages. Details are in our SMS Terms. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing with subcontractors in support services, such as customer service and the SMS delivery provider, is permitted. All other categories of sharing described in this policy exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We share information only as follows:
- Within your organization: owners and members of your organization can see who belongs to it and their roles.
- Service providers who process data on our behalf, under confidentiality obligations, only to run the Services:

- an SMS delivery provider and wireless carriers, to deliver text messages you opted in to;
- an AI service provider, which receives only public carrier data to draft safety summaries;
- Apple and Google, as needed to distribute the apps through their stores.
- TruckPro staff, who may view an account in read-only mode to provide support.
- Legal and safety: when required by law, subpoena or court order, or to protect the rights, property or safety of GurVer INC, our users or others.
- Business transfers: as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, subject to this policy.
- With your consent or at your direction.
6. Retention

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, such as the right to know, access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing (we do neither). To exercise any right, email [email protected] from the email address on your account. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by law, and we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights. You may use an authorized agent where the law allows, and you may appeal a decision by replying to our response.
9. Deleting your account
You can request deletion of your TruckPro account and associated personal data at any time. Instructions, and what is deleted and kept, are on our account deletion page.
10. Children
The Services are for businesses and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us information, contact us and we will delete it.
11. Where we process data
The Services are intended for use in the United States, and we process and store information in the United States.
